Briançon, Col du Lauteret, Sestriere

No love on the Pilote facilities today…but not for lack of trying, we were able to dump our grey/black water but not get water or power. We geared up on food, had a nice lunch by a rushing river and headed out for the Col du Lauteret…a 19km ride up 2000m ending where Alex and I launched our final accent to Le Galibier. We took 1:15 to summit but only :26 to descend the course…needless to say we were MUCH better equipped this year than we were 5 yrs ago. Tea and crepes at the summit were fantastic. Back to the rig and off to Sestriere where we found a pizzeria and a flat place to park (a premium when in campervans). Ed got drunk at dinner and snorted some scotch…see attached video.
